Computers

The Hillsboro City Library has eight (8) computers with internet access available for adult use. Four (4) computers are located on the main floor of the library. The remaining four (4) computers are located on the top floor. Adult computers are available on a first come first serve basis for 90 minutes each day. If you need to make a reservation for a computer please do so at the print station using the PCReservation function.

The Library has three (3) computers available for use by children and teens in the youth services department on the lower level of the library. Youth computers are available on a first come, first serve basis for 45 minutes each day.

How to use The Library's Computers

In order to access the library's computers you must have a Hillsboro City Library library card. If you do not have a library card you may register for one or request a guest pass at the circulation desk.

How to log into the computers with your library card:

  1. Select the Log in as Patron button

  2. Fill in the last six (6) digits of your library card number

  3. PIN numbers are the phone number associated with your library card.

  4. Click the Log In button.

How to log into the computers with a guest pass:

  1. Select Log In as Guest button

  2. Enter the letter and number combination given to you by library staff

  3. Click the Log In button

​

How to log out of the library's computers:

  1. Locate the timer in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

  2. Click End Session
