Connect with your healthcare provider at the library.

Virtual Health Center

The Virtual Health Center at the Hillsboro City Library may be utilized by any community member to access their healthcare provider via a telehealth appointment. 

To schedule the use of the library's Virtual Health Room, call the library at (254) 582 - 7385.

The library does not charge for using the Virtual Health Room.

How it Works

Step One:

Schedule a virtual appointment with your healthcare provider.

Step Two:

Schedule the Virtual Health Room at the library for the same date and time.

Step Three:

Come to the library, at least 15 minutes early, on the day of your appointment.

The Virtual Health Room

The Hillsboro City Library has a Virtual Health Room available for public use. 

The room may also be used for virtual court appearances, distance learning, testing, and remote job interviews.

The Hillsboro City Library makes a number of databases, books, audiobooks, magazines, e-Books, and e-Audiobooks on consumer health topics available to library card holders. A number of those resources can be found below. For a full listing of available consumer health materials, users are encouraged to check the library's catalog.
