September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, and the Hillsboro City Library is preparing to celebrate! Beginning Tuesday, September 3rd, the library will have updated library cards available with four unique designs. New and existing members will be able to choose their library card design. Replacement card fees for existing members will be waived for the month of September in honor of Library Card Sign-Up Month.  

In celebration of Library Card Sign-Up Month and to show appreciation to its patrons, the library will host “Pancakes for Patrons” on Friday, September 13th, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Stop by the library, sign up for a library card or get a new replacement card, and enjoy homemade pancakes with a full topping bar!
