The Friends of the Hillsboro City Library was recently gifted a $5,000 donation from WoodmenLife Chapter 86 of Hillsboro. WoodmenLife is a not-for-profit insurance company whose mission is to support its members and the communities where they live.
Hillsboro Library Director, Justin Dyer, who accepted the donation on behalf of the Friends of the Hillsboro City Library, shared his gratitude: “We are honored and sincerely grateful for this generous donation. Community support like this is invaluable. It empowers the Friends to continue its work in expanding literacy programs that enrich the lives of everyone in our community.”
If you, too, are interested in offering direct support to the Hillsboro City Library’s programming, or its other literacy efforts, consider joining the Friends of the Hillsboro City Library group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to enhance the programs and preservation of the library.
