StoryWalk® Launched at City Park

Thanks to the Friends of Hillsboro City Library a StoryWalk® has been launched at Hillsboro City Park. Installed by the City of Hillsboro Parks Department, the StoryWalk opened to the public in July. A StoryWalk is a series of picture book pages placed along a path. You read the book as you take a walk along a roughly quarter mile loop in City Park. A new book will be placed on display weekly as part of the library's summer reading program. Books will be updated monthly the remainder of the year. For more information on the StoryWalk project, be sure to check out the library's website and the article published in the Reporter Newspaper. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. It is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
