The Hillsboro City Library director, Susan Mann, was honored with the Texas Library Association's (TLA) Lifetime Achievement Award at last week's TLA Conference in San Antonio! Susan has served the citizens of Hillsboro since 1982 and has been library director since 1984. She will have over 41 years of service when she retires from her full-time position May 24th. Congratulations, Susan! What an awesome way to cap off a career dedicated to libraries and librarians.

More information about Susan's award can be found on the TLA website or in today's, April 25, 2024, edition of the Hillsboro Reporter.
